Your priorities set the competition

How we help you get bids and choose your next step.

Your home. Your priorities. Your decision. We turn what you need into a clear project request, coordinate with contractors and gather written bids. Free Bid Coordination gets the offers in front of you. Optional $499 Full Advocacy adds detailed comparison and one final negotiation round.

Savings and the number of bids received aren’t guaranteed.

Free Bid Coordination in practice

One project brief. Less sales hassle. Fewer repeat visits.

This fictional roof-replacement brief shows how we organize a homeowner’s request. It is an example, not a customer project or a contractor’s technical assessment.

What the homeowner needs

A roof replacement proposal that explains the full job, with appointment times arranged around the homeowner’s work schedule.

What matters most

A clear installed price, written warranty details and notice before any additional work is approved.

What contractors need to answer

What is included in removal, disposal and flashing? How are decking repairs priced? What needs an on-site assessment before a firm offer?

We organize the request and coordinate the estimate process. Contractors assess the property, recommend the technical scope and price their work. You review the written offers yourself, or choose Full Advocacy for our comparison and recommendation.

Need us at an estimate visit? Full Advocacy includes one local visit when needed. We step in for you to help save time on repeat consultations, within the agreed service limits.

Make your project worth competing for

They know what matters.
They know they have
a chance to earn it.

We work toward three written proposals. Each participating contractor knows their offer will be compared and understands the homeowner’s priorities, whether that is price, a particular product, warranty coverage, or getting the work done within a certain window.

That gives contractors a reason to put a competitive offer forward. With Full Advocacy, we help you see whether a lower price covers the same work and where a different approach might give you better value.

With Full Advocacy, we take it a step further: after clarifying the proposals, we ask each finalist for their strongest complete offer.

The number of proposals depends on contractor participation and project fit. Savings are possible, but not guaranteed.

From first call to final choice

Here’s how we put
the process to work.

Start wherever you are. One quote, several quotes, or a project you’re just beginning to plan.

  1. Tell us what matters.

Share your project, location and any bids you already have. Use the short intake to arrange your free 5-minute call.

  2. Choose your support.

We explain your options, agree on what we’ll do and how long we’ll collect bids, and discuss what happens if fewer offers come back. Start with free bid coordination. Pay only if you choose Full Advocacy, after we agree on its scope.

    Compare service options
  3. We coordinate with contractors for you.

We prepare a consistent project request, screen contractors as bids are requested, and coordinate written proposals around your priorities. If contractors need to visit, we help you prepare and set expectations so the conversation stays focused on your project instead of a high-pressure sales pitch.

Want us to step in for you? Full Advocacy includes one local visit when needed, helping you spend less time in repeat consultations and keep the discussion focused on your priorities.

  4. Understand the bids. Then discuss a stronger offer.

Free Bid Coordination brings you written proposals for free. If you want us to compare and negotiate, optional Full Advocacy includes detailed comparison, scope clarification and one final negotiation round on price, scope, warranty and timing. We check what a revised offer changes so a lower number does not hide a smaller job.

  5. Choose the contractor that fits.

Review the bids yourself, or choose Full Advocacy for our written recommendation and help connecting with your chosen contractor. You select the contractor, sign their agreement and pay them directly; they perform the work.

Contractor C starts with the lowest price, but important details are missing. Contractor B may fit the homeowner’s priorities more closely. Clarifying those differences makes the next conversation and any negotiation more useful.

This is a simplified example. Actual comparisons also consider materials, exclusions, payment terms, and written warranty details. It does not show or promise actual savings.

Competitive bids. Potential savings.

Your Full Advocacy fee
could be covered by savings.*

Free bid coordination gets written options in front of you. With Full Advocacy, we compare the details and negotiate with finalists for a stronger complete offer. Potential savings may help cover the $499 fee.

*In our experience helping friends and family, competitive bidding and negotiation have helped lower project costs. Results vary, and we cannot guarantee a lower contract price or savings that cover your service fee. Negotiation support depends on your selected service.

Clear about compensation

You choose.
We explain how we’re paid.

Free Bid Coordination is free to homeowners. Optional Full Advocacy costs $499. A selected participating contractor also pays us a disclosed fixed success fee, due after you sign their agreement and they receive your initial deposit. The contractor pays this fee. It is not added to your agreed contract price and does not change that price.

The fee is set before bidding and is the same for participating contractors on that opportunity. It does not rise simply because the winning price is higher. Contractors cannot buy a preferred recommendation.

A few practical questions

Before you get started.

Do contractors know they’re competing?

Yes. We explain that you’re comparing proposals and share your priorities so each contractor can put forward a relevant, competitive offer. We describe the actual opportunities and responses accurately.

Does free bid coordination include negotiation?

Free Bid Coordination covers the project request, contractor outreach and delivery of written bids. Full Advocacy adds detailed comparison, clarification, a recommendation and one final negotiation round.

What if I already have one or several bids?

Bring them to your free consultation. We’ll discuss whether more bids, clearer comparisons, or Full Advocacy would help with your next decision.

Will the lowest bidder always win?

No. With Full Advocacy, our recommendation considers your priorities and what each offer includes. An exclusion, unresolved question or schedule difference may explain why another offer fits better. You make the final choice.

Do contractors need to reveal all their costs?

We ask for clear scope, price, exclusions, warranty and timing. That is different from an internal breakdown of wages, overhead and profit. The useful question is what you are buying and what could change the agreed price.

Are three bids or a lower price guaranteed?

No. We work toward three proposals, but availability and project fit affect participation. Competitive bidding and negotiation can create opportunities for savings; neither a lower price nor savings that cover your fee are guaranteed.
