Start with a free conversation. Contractor visits and work are charged separately.
We organize what’s already been checked and the questions that still need answers, saving you time on repeat consultations. For projects we can support, Full Advocacy can include a local visit. Your contractor confirms the assessment, work and service charges.
Tell the roofer what needs attention.
Are you planning routine upkeep, responding to debris buildup or trying to understand a recommendation from a recent inspection? Share the roof material, approximate installation date, previous repairs and any solar equipment. If there is an active leak, say so at the start. A scheduled cleaning visit may not include finding or fixing that leak.
Separate the inspection, cleaning and repairs.
Ask for three clear lists: what the provider will inspect, what it will clean and what it will repair. Identify roof sections, gutters, valleys and penetrations included in the visit. Ask what photographs or written findings you will receive. “Full service” is not a useful substitute for an itemized scope.
Check the cleaning method for your roof material.
Have the provider identify the material and the applicable manufacturer care instructions. Ask how the proposed method protects the roof, landscaping and attached equipment. Do not assume a technique advertised for one covering is suitable for every roof. Existing damage should be documented before cleaning begins.
Read the roof maintenance plan before signing.
How many visits are included, and when? Does the price cover labor and materials for minor repairs, or only inspection? Find out who contacts you to schedule, whether storm follow-up costs extra, and how renewal and cancellation work. Ask what happens if weather prevents the planned visit.
Approve extra roof work before it starts.
Request photos and a separate price for newly discovered repairs. Set the point at which the provider must stop and get your approval. Ask whether a maintenance visit affects any existing warranty and obtain the actual terms rather than relying on a verbal promise. Keeping records helps the next contractor understand the roof’s history.
Choose the help your roof project actually needs.
For homeowners across Southern Oregon, we first discuss project fit and provider availability. Our usual bid-coordination focus is planned projects of $7,000 or more; a small upkeep visit may be better booked directly with a qualified provider. We do not perform roof maintenance, sell a recurring maintenance subscription or provide emergency dispatch. You hire and pay the contractor directly.

Questions before you decide.
Is roof maintenance the same as a roof inspection?
An inspection documents condition. Maintenance may include specified cleaning or upkeep, but the tasks depend on the agreement. Ask for the report and the work list separately.
Will maintenance guarantee that my roof will not leak?
Do not assume that. Ask what the provider warrants about its own work and what conditions remain outside the scope.
Can you help me compare roof maintenance quotes in Medford?
Yes. Tell us where the property is and share the proposed work. We discuss what help makes sense and confirm contractor availability before coordinating anything. For a small upkeep visit, booking a roofer directly may be the simplest option.
For Southern Oregon homeowners, including Medford, Central Point, Ashland and Grants Pass. Find your community. Provider availability is confirmed for your property and work.
