Backup for selected essentials
Name the circuits and appliances that matter most. Ask the installer to spell out the supported loads and the assumptions behind estimated runtime.
Plan for the things you want to keep powered
Considering a home battery but unsure what to ask for? Start with what you want to keep running. We help request battery backup installation quotes from participating contractors, with no homeowner fee for bid delivery.
We organize your request and coordinate with contractors, so you spend less time repeating yourself. With Full Advocacy, we can step in for you at one local visit when needed. Contractors assess and quote the work. You choose who to hire.
Start with a free 5-minute call. Three bids are our target, subject to contractor availability and whether the project is a fit. Contractors may need to visit.
No quote needed to get started
The fridge, lights and internet are a different request from running everything in the house. Write down your priorities and tell us whether you have solar already. We put those goals in front of installers so their proposals can explain what is backed up, for how long under stated conditions, and at what installed price.
Name the circuits and appliances that matter most. Ask the installer to spell out the supported loads and the assumptions behind estimated runtime.
Request solar generation and storage as separate parts of the proposal. That makes it easier to see what the battery adds to the system and the price.
Share the make and model of existing solar equipment if you know it. An installer needs to confirm compatibility and any additional controls or electrical work.
Know what you are being offered
A battery’s stored energy and its power output describe different things. Ask the installer to explain both in terms of the appliances you want to run. The useful question is what the complete proposed system can do for your household.
From first question to written offers
01
Tell us what needs power, your existing equipment and whether solar is also part of the plan.
02
We coordinate the requests; installers assess compatibility, placement and electrical needs.
03
Choose on your own or add Full Advocacy to question scope differences and negotiate before signing.
Understand the budget
A battery unit price may leave out controls, electrical changes and installation. Ask for a complete total and separately identified options. Our battery cost guide covers questions to ask, while the incentive guides point you toward eligibility checks. An advertised incentive is not confirmation that your project qualifies.
Useful before requesting quotes
Choose your support
We prepare a consistent project request, reach out through our participating network, screen contractors as bids are requested and deliver the written offers we receive.
You review the offers and decide what to do. Free delivery does not include a comparison, summary, recommendation, negotiation or our attendance.
How free delivery works ↗We compare the bids, ask what is missing and handle one final negotiation round on price, included work, warranty and timing. You get our recommendation in writing and help connecting with your chosen contractor.
We can step in for you at one local visit when needed, helping you save time on repeat consultations.
See the full offer and fees ↗Paid support starts only after the free call and agreement on scope. We can’t guarantee a lower price, savings that cover our fee or three completed bids. We also receive a disclosed fixed contractor success fee under agreed conditions. See how we are paid. The contractor pays this fee. It is not added to your agreed contract price and does not change that price.
Prepare for the visit
A photo of an equipment label or existing proposal can help an installer understand what is there. You do not need to choose a battery brand before contacting us. Storage may support backup or other energy goals, but the installer must explain the capabilities and limits of the proposed setup.

Southern Oregon homeowners
We serve 18 Southern Oregon communities, including Klamath Falls. Check all service areas. Contractor availability and any travel arrangements with us are confirmed before we begin.
We focus on planned projects expected to cost at least $7,000, where you plan to choose a contractor within about 90 days. Coverage depends on project fit and participating-contractor availability.

Start with us and a conversation about what you need. You choose and hire the contractor directly. Contractors are responsible for assessment, design, installation and workmanship.
We cannot determine that from the battery count. Ask the installer to identify supported loads, simultaneous power limits and expected runtime under stated conditions. Whole-home claims need a specific design.
An installer can assess whether that is feasible with your equipment. Request a written explanation of any required changes rather than assuming a battery will connect to any existing system.
Yes. Tell us what you need powered and your budget priorities. We request options around those goals; participating installers confirm the products they can supply and support.
You can start without an existing quote. Tell us what you are planning, and we will discuss the next step on a free call.
Free bid coordination. No obligation to add paid support.
