Add battery backup to existing solar in Southern Oregon

Already have solar but want power during outages? We help Southern Oregon homeowners request battery-addition quotes that address the system they own and the appliances they want to keep running.

We organize your request and coordinate with contractors, so you spend less time repeating yourself. With Full Advocacy, we can step in for you at one local visit when needed. Contractors assess and quote the work. You choose who to hire.

Three bids are our target, subject to contractor availability and whether the project is a fit.

Bring the details of the system you own.

Gather panel and inverter models, installation documents and utility information. Tell the installer whether you own, finance or lease the equipment. Ask what permission or coordination is needed before modifying it, and who will support the combined system afterward.

Decide what backup should accomplish.

Describe essential loads and the duration you hope to support. Ask for the assumptions behind the proposed capacity and how the system recharges during an outage. Adding storage does not automatically mean every appliance can run together indefinitely.

Compare the full price of adding the battery.

Have the quote separate the battery from integration equipment and installation work. Ask what is reused, replaced or added. If a utility incentive is mentioned, verify current eligibility and participation obligations before including it in your budget.

You choose, hire and pay the contractor directly. Their fee is not added to your agreed contract price and does not change it. Savings are not guaranteed.

Questions about this project.

Will any battery work with my solar?

Compatibility and configuration need an installer’s assessment. Provide your existing equipment details before relying on a price or capability claim.
