Ductwork repair and replacement quotes in Southern Oregon

Rooms still too hot or too cold? New equipment may not be the whole answer. We help you request ductwork repair or replacement bids that explain what was found and what work is proposed.

We organize your request and coordinate with contractors, so you spend less time repeating yourself. With Full Advocacy, we can step in for you at one local visit when needed. Contractors assess and quote the work. You choose who to hire.

Three bids are our target, subject to contractor availability and whether the project is a fit.

Get the assessment before the replacement recommendation.

Describe uneven temperatures, airflow concerns and accessible duct conditions. Ask the contractor what they measured or observed and whether repair, sealing, modification or replacement is proposed. Those are different scopes with different costs.

Know how much of the house the quote covers.

Ask for a sketch or description of the affected runs and registers. Clarify work in attics, crawlspaces or finished areas, including any openings and restoration. A bid for accessible repairs should not be mistaken for replacement of the entire duct system.

Coordinate with any equipment change.

If the ducts are part of an HVAC replacement, ask who verifies that the proposed equipment and distribution work together. Keep the duct scope visible rather than folding it into an unexplained package total. Confirm cleanup, disposal and additional-work authorization.

Will new ducts fix every comfort issue?

That cannot be promised from a symptom alone. Ask for an assessment and an explanation of which identified conditions the proposed work addresses.
