Need help choosing
a contractor?

The decision belongs to you. With Full Advocacy, we put our recommendation in writing, explain how the options fit your priorities and help connect you with your chosen contractor. You sign their agreement and pay them directly.

We handle the details and coordinate the bids, so you spend less time repeating yourself. Want us at an estimate visit? Optional Full Advocacy includes one local visit when needed. Contractors assess the work and prepare their quotes.

  1. Your priorities
  2. Our recommendation
  3. Your final choice

A question we can help with

“The cheapest bid is not my favorite. How do I decide?”

You don’t have to choose the lowest number. We look at the work, warranty, timing and unanswered questions alongside what matters to you. Then we explain which offer we recommend and why. The decision is yours.

Know why we recommend that contractor.

We put our recommendation and reasons in writing. If something still needs an answer, we say so. You should understand the trade-offs before signing, including why a higher or lower bid may fit you better. A recommendation is not a guarantee of the contractor’s future work.

Weigh what matters to you

Would you pay more for a shorter wait? Is a clearer warranty worth the difference? We help you weigh those choices instead of treating the cheapest bid as the automatic winner.

Keep the agreed offer in writing

We document our recommendation and help connect you with the contractor you choose. Keep the final bid and answers together so you can check what you’re agreeing to.

Hire and pay the contractor directly

You sign the contractor’s agreement and pay them directly. They manage and perform the work. Our help choosing a contractor does not include managing construction.

Is this the help you need?

Have a favorite, but still have doubts?

Tell us what makes you hesitate. Maybe the cheaper bid leaves things out, or your household disagrees about which offer is best. We help you work through those questions, even if you already lean toward one company.

Prepare for the conversation

Check the details before you commit.

Before choosing, check unanswered questions about the work, when payments are due, what could delay the job and the conditions of the warranty. Make sure the agreement you are considering matches the offer you intend to accept. Ask for a correction when it does not. We do not provide legal review of the construction contract.

Questions before you decide.

What if I disagree with your recommendation?

You don’t have to follow it. We’ll explain our reasoning and talk through why you prefer another offer. It’s your home, and you decide who to hire.

Are network contractors already screened for my job?

Screening happens when bids are requested for your project. Membership alone is not a promise that a company is suitable for every job. Contractor checks do not guarantee future work or service.

Who do I pay after selecting someone?

You pay the contractor directly for their work. Our separate, disclosed contractor success fee becomes due after you sign the contractor agreement and the contractor receives your initial deposit. The contractor pays this fee. It is not added to your agreed contract price and does not change that price.
