Know who pays us

Free bid coordination.
A clear explanation of our fees.

We help you organize roofing, solar and HVAC bids. Here is what you pay, what a participating contractor pays and how that relationship fits into your decision.

What you pay.

Free Bid Coordination has no homeowner fee. We organize your project request, contact participating contractors and deliver the written offers we receive. Three bids are our target, subject to project fit and availability. You review those bids yourself.

Full Advocacy is optional and costs $499. We compare the offers, clarify missing details, provide a written recommendation and conduct one final negotiation round to seek better scope and pricing. Savings, a lower price and contractor acceptance are not guaranteed.

Before you choose paid support, we put the scope, timing, fee and cancellation and refund terms in writing for you to review. Sending an inquiry does not accept those terms or commit you to payment.

What a participating contractor pays.

If you hire a participating contractor, they pay us a fixed success fee after you sign their agreement and they receive your initial deposit. The exact fee is agreed before bidding and is the same for participating contractors on that opportunity. It does not rise simply because the winning price is higher.

We explain the applicable contractor fee to you before you choose who to hire. If a material scope change calls for a revised fee, we agree it with the contractor in writing before revised bidding and disclose the change to you.

You do not owe ProjectSide the contractor’s success fee. We do not add it as a separate charge to your contract or change a price you have already agreed to. Contractors set their own quotes and may consider their business costs when pricing the work.

That creates a financial interest.

We receive compensation when a participating contractor is hired, so we have a financial interest in that outcome. A fixed fee does not remove that interest. We disclose the relationship so you can consider it when deciding whether to use our service or rely on our recommendation.

Contractors cannot pay for preferred placement or buy our recommendation. With Full Advocacy, our written recommendation explains how the offers compare with your priorities, including scope, price, timing and unresolved questions.

Free coordination uses our participating network. It is not a search of every contractor in the market. Full Advocacy may include custom outreach within the scope we agree. We explain relevant limits before we start.

You choose. You sign. You approve changes.

You choose and hire the contractor directly. You sign their agreement and pay them for construction. They assess the property, prepare the technical scope and remain responsible for their work, permits and warranties. We do not hold your construction deposit.

Full Advocacy may include one local estimate visit in Jackson or Josephine County when agreed in advance. We communicate your questions and priorities. We do not inspect the property, supervise construction, sign for you or approve work, financing or changes.

Before an introduction, we ask your permission to share the project and contact information needed. You can ask what will be shared and with whom.

Understand what screening can tell you.

When requesting bids, we check required credentials and available disciplinary information and explain what was checked and when. Ask us about the checks relevant to your project. A license check or network listing does not guarantee workmanship, availability or the outcome of your project.

Contractors remain responsible for their work. We remain responsible for the coordination and other services we agree to provide.

Ask before you commit.
